UNITED STATES — Often referred to as the ‘queen of darkness’ because of her marriage and affiliation with Black Sabbath front man Ozzy Osbourne, a man who is famous for biting the head off of a bat during a performance, Sharon Osbourne has left the US talk show The Talk after a heated argument about racism. “Osbourne’s behavior did not align with our values for a respectful workplace,” CBS said, “She was already on thin ice after her husband blacked out and shot a gun off in the parking lot and her son was found passed out in the women’s bathroom, so this was the last straw.” The problem began when Osbourne defended broadcaster Piers Morgan over his criticism of the recent Oprah interview given by the Duchess of Sussex. Her comment led to a clash with co-host Sheryl Underwood, who accused Osbourne of giving validation to racist views. CBS took The Talk off-air while it carried out an investigation. “I mean, have you ever seen The Osbournes?” Mary Tompkins, a regular viewer of The Talk, said during a round of interviews with people who witnessed the episode, “I just think it’s funny that CBS is surprised that a 68-year-old, white, British, wife of a classic metal music legend, would maybe say something fucked up.” CBS is currently acting very concerned with the matter and will continue to do so until viewers forget what happened and the show returns to normal over the next few days.
