Celebrities Release Confusing Video Damning America for Re-electing Donald Trump
UNITED STATES — American Celebrities have a long-standing tradition of publicly releasing unnecessary, misguided, detached and cringe inducing statements on politics and global news. A video released on Wednesday featuring 40 different celebrities ranging from Stanley Tucci to Howie Mandel, two very similar looking men, attempted to chastise the American public for re-electing Donald Trump as president of the United States. The primary issue with the video being that Donald Trump was not re-elected as president of the United States. “You chose to re-elect a monster despite seeing the damage he can do, and now my daughter is unable to walk,” Jennifer Lawrence, 30, said in a relatively lengthy chunk of the 3-minute black and white video. “Is this enough of a reason to care?” said Mark Duplass, 43, holding up a COVID-19 infection chart from July. The internet fell into a moment of confusion with many viewers thinking the video was a self-aware joke calling attention to how poorly the last viral celebrity-packed video was received. The fact that Jennifer Lawrence does not have a daughter also raised some eyebrows. The video was deleted less than an hour after being uploaded which sparked accusations that it was not a self-aware joke. “What?” was a top comment that was echoed 97 times throughout the comment section of the video. None of the celebrities featured in the video have been available for comment.
