MUSIC — Demi Lovato, 28, the singer of such ‘not, not hits’ as “Sorry Not Sorry” and “OK Not To Be OK” opened up this week on Twitter about the fact that they will do anything for attention. “I mean, I released a documentary about myself on YouTube,” they told their millions of Twitter followers Wednesday, “then I tried to cancel a yogurt shop over some super confusing shit, and now I’m telling people I just realized I’m non-binary. I’m like, addicted to asking people to give a shit about my bull shit. For real.” The American pop star has been losing popularity following the tepid praise of their self-produced documentary on YouTube, their relatively tone-deaf protest song “Commander And Chief” and their brief beef with a yogurt shop in Los Angeles over the so-called “diet culture” it perpetuates by including sugar-free yogurt options as a part of its menu. “Sorry not sorry I’m binary non-binary,” they continued in a second tweet, “but I’m giving myself permission to start over.” Celebrity behavioral experts agree that Lovato is spiraling and will say or do “whatever” at various points within the next couple months before inevitably going to rehab again in another desperate attempt to remain relevant.
