Frozen Pizza Gets Nice Cutting Board
UNITED STATES — In a move that shocked his roommate, Devin Barrett, 26, placed a frozen pizza, which cost roughly three dollars, on the household’s “nice” cutting board to divide it into slices for himself. “It had one of those cardboard circles under it, so I assumed he was going to just cut it on that,” Mike Bowers, 27, said during an interview, “but he put it on our nice cutting board. That blew me away.” The “nice” cutting board is in fact the only cutting board currently present in the apartment. The two young men typically place frozen pizza either on the cardboard circle which usually comes with it or on top of its box packaging. “My mom gave us that cutting board so that obviously made me kind of pissed when I saw him using it for a cheap frozen pizza that he was definitely going to eat by himself,” Bowers continued, “Plus, he was cutting it with a butter knife because the pizza cutter was dirty. It’s like, at least use a good knife if you’re going to use the nice cutting board.” Barrett reportedly ate the entire pizza, well before it had reached a safe temperature for consumption, and then put the cutting board in the sink for two days. Bowers is currently searching for a new living situation once his lease expires in 11 months.
