Local Man Dusts Apartment by Blowing on Everything
UNITED STATES — Donald McElroy, 45, has been cleaning his own home for decades, and he believes he’s found a time-saving technique that has given him years of his life back. “Instead of actually like, you know, dusting stuff with a dirty rag or an old shirt or whatever, I just blow on everything now,” McElroy, a water management employee for the city of Chicago, told local news in a segment focusing on time-saving cleaning tips, “COVID-19 made blowing on stuff look weird for a bit there, but hey, who’s coming over to my apartment anytime soon, eh? Nobody.” A video shows the divorced bachelor wandering around his apartment, blowing on all his belongings until the air became thick with hair and dust that would eventually settle onto the floor where he would then sweep it up. Critics of the method claimed that the dust would just settle back down on his stuff, but McElroy defended his actions by stating, “If there’s one thing I learned from my divorce, it’s not to make the same mistake twice. Trust me, this dust ain’t going nowhere but the floor.” McElroy’s ex-wife was unable to be reached for questioning, but sources close to her say that she remarried a long time ago and thanks God every day she did not have kids with Donald. McElroy has begun a popular TikTok page where he posts videos teaching his technique, usually devolving into a rant about not being able to trust women.
